How do I get the pound (£) sign on the iPad Pro Keyboard?

The iPad pro official Apple keyboard is an American keyboard option only, so shows only key specific to the US, you can however use a key combination to show a pound sign.

To get the UK pound sign hold down the 'option' key and press the number 3 across the top.

Alternatively, if the above doesn't work, please press Shift and 3
