How to "Hard reset" an iPad

When you turn an iPad off it does not restart the operating system it just saves the current state it is in. 

This can cause the following issues:-

-An iPad may Freeze

-Some applications will not open

-Apps will not download

When this happens the most reliable fix is to "Hard Reset" the iPad.

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
