Dial from a PIN Protected Extension

To temporarily remove the PIN Protection from an extension to make an external call the user should complete the below:-

You will need to know your your extension number and PIN before you begin.

The number for unlocking is number 7's to the equivalent to the extension number length.
So if you have 3 digit extension numbers your unlock number is 777 as where if you have a 5 digit extension number your unlocking number is 77777

1. Pickup handset and dial your unlock number (as above)
2. When the call is answered he extensions PIN number followed by a #
3. The Phone system will read back to you "Access allowed by System" and disconnects the call.
4. Dial the external number you wish to dial.

Things to note: 

• Emergency numbers are excluded from being blocked at all times, so you can just dial 999 as required without unlocking.
• The system will relock the extension again after a period of time, this is normally around 5 mins.
• This will not disconnect active calls however will prevent you making additional calls until the extension is unlocked again if the time has lapsed.
