Resetting Windows Hello PIN

Use this guide to reset a Windows Hello PIN.

1) Select Sign-in options and click the keypad icon.

2) After typing your username, click I forgot my PIN

3) You'll then be prompted to enter your password. Type your password and press Enter/click the arrow.

4) After signing in, you'll be presented with the Reset PIN screen. Click Reset PIN.

5) You may be prompted to select an account. Choose your Microsoft account.

6) You'll be prompted for MFA. Approve the login request.

7) You'll now be prompted to enter a new PIN. Enter your new PIN.

8) A screen will appear advising that your new PIN has been set.

9) Sign in with your new PIN by clicking Sign-in options and choosing the keypad option.
