When you receive a message through chat on teams, by default the message may appear on top of all applications you have open, including PowerPoint presentations.
This can obviously be an issue when presenting if the message is sensitive.
To disable chat notifications, follow the steps below:
- In Teams, click the ellipses (top right) and go to Settings
- Go to 'Notifications'
- Uncheck 'Show message preview'
You should then get a notification bubble, but the content should be omitted.
