The school offers a remote access system that can be used by staff to access certain school resources from any location, provided a computer with an internet connection is available.
1. Using a web browser, go to www.combertonvc.org
2. Select Portals from the navigation menu at the top of the page
3. From the portals page, select Staff Remote Access.
4. Enter your full e-mail address and password in the required fields.
5. You will be taken to a page with a list of remote apps. Select "CAT Remote Access"
6. You will be prompted to log in once again with your school e-mail address and password
7. you will be connected to a terminal server remote desktop. From this desktop you will have access to both the school shared drives and the drives local to the computer you are using, allowing for easy transferring of files between the two systems.
