The CAM Trust's software management system to remotely deploys software to devices based on their user's role requirements. New software must be added to this system for automated deployment. Users are therefore not able to install new software themselves, can make requests via the IT Helpdesk at support@catrust.co.uk.
Please include in the e-mail information about the software, it's purpose and where it's required. Having had a chance to assess the work involved in setting up the deployment, the IT team will reply with an estimate of when the software will be installed and ready to use.
Setting up an application for deployment can be quite complicated, and there is often a relatively long lead time on new software requests. Two weeks is normal for a simple application. More complicated deployments will usually be carried out over the following holiday period.
