If you're trying to insert a @ into a document and windows is inserting a " instead then it is likely that your keyboard layout has changed from English (UK) to English (US).
To change it back on Windows 10:
1)Click Start
2)Click on the cog (settings)
3)In the new window that appears, select Time and Language
4)Select Region and Language
5)You will probably have both English (UK) and English (US) languages, as you don't need both you can delete the US layout by clicking on English (US) then selecting remove.
If the remove option is grayed out, click on English (UK) and select Set As Default, they try removing English (US) again.
If English (UK) isn't on your list, select Add A Language, search for English, Click on English (English), then look (or search for) English (United Kingdom) and click on English (United Kingdom).
