Sometimes when you send an email to an internal or external recipient you might get a message back saying invalid email address or something, this can happen because you have an old email address cached in your Outlook that needs removing so you get the correct ones from the address book or type it again.
To delete the cached email:
- Click on To in Outlook when starting a new email
- start typing the email address/name of the person you believe is wrong
- You should see the cached version of the email address you are using
- hover over that email address/name and press the X to the right of it
- You should see this message - Click on OK
- This will remove the previously cached address
This should now use the correct address as you start typing or not populate a cached address at all and require you to fully type the email address.
