As well as being able to add shared mailboxes to Outlook Desktop you can also add them to the web version, to do this follow these steps:
- Log into https://outlook.office.com
- Right click on folders on the left hand side
- Select Add Shared Folder
- Start typing the name of the shared mailbox you want to add and either select it from the list or select search
- Once you have selected it click on Add
- As with Desktop Outlook the shared mailbox will now show at the bottom left, below your main mailbox
